The first thing you will come across upon arriving at the estate is the 18th century Country House and the main buildings of the complex.
The Estate has vast tracts of land encompassing 1500 hectares of natural habitat and teeming with olive trees, cork oaks and pine trees: an ideal habitat for the wild goats, roe deer and wild boar that live in the area.
After the creation of the council-owned "EMGREAL" company and a lot of hard work and effort, sustainable rural tourism projects and environmental education initiatives have been set in motion. The estate is managed by the San Roque-based company, Promosportyocio, which was founded in 1995 and is one of the pioneering adventure tourism firms in Andalusia.
In terms of facilities, tourists and visitors to the estate will be able to stay in one of the five suites in the old Andalusian country house, restored to the highest of standards. There are also 9 cabins with a capacity for 76 people, ideal for children on one of the enviromental studies courses. Additionally, there is a restaurant, café-bar, an information point and a souvenir shop. A stable with thourough-bred Spanish horses is also available.
The estate offers an extensive range of activites such as nature trails with rope bridges, rock climbing on natural and artificial rock faces, zip wires, hacks, mountain bike routes, 4x4 excursions, canoeing, orienteering, survival, archery. There are also ecological and eco-system familiarization courses for children with specialist guides.
