Since the 1960s Santa María Polo Club has been climbing the rankings to make it one of the three most important polo clubs in Europe today. As well as offering the opportunity to play polo 365 days of the year, it is the only club in the world that holds two annual ranking events on the international circuit: The Gold Cup and the Silver Cup, declared as events of Tourist Interest by the regional government of Andalusia.
Between Jerez and Marbella, almost at the tip of the Iberian peninsula, lies one of Europe’s most exclusive golfing Country Club. Here, in the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja, the peace and natural beauty of Andalucia is complemented by a stylish retreat and an 18-hole championship golf course are enhanced by a friendly atmosphere: welcome to The San Roque Club.
At The San Roque Club you will find two championship golf courses: "The Old Course" and "The New Course", with different practice areas and a driving range with Toptracer technology. Pro-shop with all services and Golf Academy. A delicious restaurant with spaces for events and celebrations and the most pleasant service you can imagine.
The prestigious American golf architect Robert Trent Jones designed this course, which has been deemed world-class by specialist golf publications from Europe and Northamerica since its opening. This was the first course that Trent Jones designed in Europe. In 1994 His Majesty King Juan Carlos I granted the course the title Real (Royal). Only 2 years after its opening, RSGC was the venue of the 1966 Spanish Open and 21 years later, in 1987, it hosted the Spanish Professional Championship.

Sotogrande is the home of legendary golf courses and La Reserva Club continues this historic legacy while creating a contemporary experience that defines the area today. Carved into the hillside with natural vistas in every direction, the 18-hole championship course was designed in 2003 by American architect and course designer Cabell B. Robinson. With wide, sweeping fairways that lead on to large greens, gentle but challenging undulations and various water features, La Reserva is a must-play for any golfer visiting Southern Spain.

An intrinsic part of the Sotogrande lifestyle, tennis and padel have been played on our sun-kissed courts since 1965. Have to 4 Clay Tennis Courts and 5 Glass-Walled Padel Courts.If larger team sports are more to your liking, the playing court at La Reserva Club is available for games such as basketball, football and volleyball. Enquire at the Club’s reception to put a team together or meet friends for a game.
Enjoy sports and the sand between your toes at The Beach! Our court can be adapted to play beach volleyball or beach tennis and equipment is available to rent too, so you don’t need to bring a thing. Perfect for groups of four to stay active and enjoy the stunning sand, while indulging your competitive spirit.

La Reserva Club de Sotogrande is the first country club to bring the beach to the hills with a complete offering of exclusive amenities for the entire family. At The Beach, La Reserva Club de Sotogrande offers the ultimate and first of a kind environment in which to relax, socialise, dine and soak up the sultry summer ambience in a lagoon setting made for memorable experiences.
In a unique natural enclave you can find what many consider to be the masterpiece of the prestigious American golf course architect Robert Trent Jones. When the course was constructed in 1974 it was originally called New Sotogrande but, in 1981 its name was changed to Las Aves (The Birds).
La Cañada Municipal Golf Club was opened in 1982 with 9 holes conceived by the mythical American designer, Robert Trent Jones. It was the first municipal golf club in Spain and the second municipal course to be built in Andalusia. La Cañada is also the golf club with the second highest number of federated members in Andalusia. Today many new features have been added since the club began and the club now has another 9 holes, which were designed by the renowned golf architect Dave Thomas, as well as a clubhouse that rivals the facilities of any of the prestigious neighbouring courses.
The Almenara Golf Sotogrande has a golf course that is an authentic natural park with 27 holes created by the famous British designer Davie Thomas. With undulating fairways and deep bunkers, it is a challenge for even the best golfer. With breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and the mountains, all this is complemented by the enviable climate that makes it possible to play this beautiful sport all year round in Sotogrande.
